Terradot, a carbon removal company founded in 2022 at Stanford, is using enhanced rock weathering in southern Brazil by spreading crushed volcanic rock on farmland to accelerate carbon sequestration. The company aims to remove 300,000 tons of CO2 and expects to deliver its first carbon removal credit by the end of 2023, supported by significant investment from Silicon Valley.
