The program, run by child protection association Les Papillons, allows children to drop letters detailing abuse, with 2.4% leading to reports to child protection officials and 1.4% to police investigations. Founded by police officer Laurent Boyet, the initiative aims to break taboos surrounding abuse and provide support to victims, with over 30,000 children using the mailboxes last year.
