Max Scherzer secured his 220th career win with six innings of one-run ball as the Toronto Blue Jays triumphed over the Pittsburgh Pirates 7-3, supported by George Springer’s two-run homer and Alejandro Kirk’s three RBIs. In other games, the Detroit Tigers edged the Houston Astros 1-0 in 10 innings, while the St. Louis Cardinals, New York Mets, and Philadelphia Phillies also claimed victories.
