Saudi Arabia halts operations at multiple energy sites

Operational activities at several Saudi energy facilities have been suspended due to recent attacks that resulted in one death and seven injuries among security personnel. The assaults on oil, gas, and electricity sites have led to a reduction of approximately 600,000 barrels per day in the kingdom’s oil production capacity. An official warned that ongoing attacks could exacerbate supply volatility in the oil market, particularly as tensions in the region continue amid a fragile ceasefire between the US and Iran.
