Saudi activist Loujain al-Hathloul, who is currently being held in Bulgaria, has announced that she will be going on a hunger strike to protest her detention. Al-Hathloul was arrested in Bulgaria while traveling for a conference on human rights and has been held for over a month without any charges being filed against her. Her supporters are calling for her immediate release and are urging the Bulgarian government to respect her rights as a peaceful activist.
