Computer scientist Dr Craig Wright, who claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto and asserted intellectual property rights over Bitcoin, has been ordered to cease bringing legal action after being accused of using the courts to “terrorise his perceived enemies”. Following a trial in London where a judge ruled he was not Satoshi and had lied extensively, Dr Wright was barred from pursuing further legal action related to Bitcoin. The non-profit cryptocurrency group Copa has requested a civil restraint order to prevent Dr Wright from reapplying to the High Court and all county courts for three years due to his misuse of the English legal system.
