Sarah Milgrim, a 26-year-old who worked for the Israeli Embassy, was fatally shot alongside her boyfriend, Yaron Lischinsky, outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., after attending a diplomatic event focused on aid to Gaza. Her family described her as a compassionate person dedicated to peace, while her father expressed that she had the strength to mold their lives positively. Following their tragic deaths, it was revealed that Lischinsky had planned to propose to Milgrim, intensifying the family’s grief amidst rising antisemitism and violence linked to the Israel-Hamas conflict.
