Sarah Michelle Gellar returns as Helen Shivers in the new sequel of I Know What You Did Last Summer, which features a fresh cast and a similar premise of former high school friends being hunted after a tragic accident. Although Gellar’s character is dead, she appears in a haunting dream sequence, a concept that was developed over several years by director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson.
