Sarah McLachlan announced the postponement of her Canadian tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of her Fumbling Towards Ecstasy album due to illness, specifically acute laryngitis. The singer, 56, had already canceled shows in the U.S. and expressed concern about the demanding tour schedule. Despite this setback, McLachlan recently received honors including induction into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, as well as having a documentary planned on Lilith Fair, the tour she spearheaded in the 1990s.
