Schoolgirl Sara Sharif was found dead with “disturbing” injuries, including bitemarks, scalding, and broken bones, in a suspected “campaign of abuse” at her family home in Woking. Her father, Urfan Sharif, called Surrey Police from Pakistan claiming he had “legally punished” her, but she had died. Urfan Sharif, along with Sara’s stepmother Beinash Batool and uncle Faisal Malik, are on trial for her murder, with the court hearing she had suffered “extensive” injuries over a prolonged period.
