Shaw, who had been seeking a trade for a year, brings her scoring prowess to North Carolina, strengthening their attack alongside Kerolin. The 20-year-old Texan has made significant contributions at both club and international levels, winning titles with San Diego and a gold medal at the 2024 Olympics, while also being recognized as U.S. Soccer Young Female Player of the Year in 2022.
