Samba Diawara will not be the Reims manager next season
Samba Diawara will not continue as the manager of Stade de Reims for the 2025-26 season after guiding the team to a Coupe de France final, where they lost 3-0 to Paris Saint-Germain. Reims was relegated to Ligue 2 after failing to secure their spot in Ligue 1, marking their first appearance in the second tier since 2017-18. Philippe Montanier is reported to be the frontrunner for the managerial position, having previously led Toulouse FC to their first Coupe de France title in 2022-23.
