Jeff Borzello, a close basketball recruiting insider for ESPN who joined in 2014, reported that Rutgers star freshman Ace Bailey will miss Wednesday’s game against Wagner due to an unspecified injury, delaying his highly anticipated debut. Bailey, ranked No. 2 in the ESPN 100 for the 2024 class, is a 6-foot-10 wing from McEachern High School and a projected top-five pick in the upcoming NBA draft. Despite Bailey’s absence, fellow freshman Dylan Harper, ranked No. 3 in ESPN’s draft rankings, will still make his debut for Rutgers in the upcoming game against Wagner.
