Russian liner Panda Express Line is expanding its services to cover South China by deploying two sub-2,000 teu ships to connect Vladivostok with ports in Nansha, Shenzhen, and Xiamen. The company, launched in late 2022, is among new Russian liners filling the gap left by global liners following the invasion of Ukraine, operating a fleet of ten vessels between the Russian Far East, China, and South Korea.

MOL spends $1.7bn buying Dutch tank terminal operator
Japanese shipowner MOL is acquiring LBC Tank Terminals for $1.72bn, expanding its presence in chemical storage in Europe and the US. LBC operates seven terminals with a total capacity of 3m cu m, including facilities for rail and truck transport. With previous acquisitions, MOL now has one of the largest chemical tanker fleets globally. Full Article
