Russian athletes competing in the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games under their own flag for the first time since 2014 have won their country’s first medals. After being banned from previous Games, Russia won two bronze medals in para alpine skiing. The decision to allow Russian athletes to participate upset Ukraine and other nations who boycotted the opening ceremony.
