In a fresh wave of sanctions on British officials by Russia, Angela Rayner, Yvette Cooper, Rachel Reeves, Jonathan Reynolds, and Ed Miliband are among 15 cabinet ministers banned from entering the country. A total of 30 British citizens, including members of the UK’s political and military establishment and journalists, have been listed on the “stop list” for alleged “anti-Russian activities”. This action comes after a British diplomat was expelled from Russia over spying allegations, which Downing Street strongly denies, with the diplomat accused of providing false information and engaging in activities threatening Russian security.
