Russell Brand is facing a lawsuit in London’s High Court over sexual abuse allegations, which is the first known case against him in the UK. The claimant filed a personal injury sexual abuse case, following evidence passed to the Crown Prosecution Service by London’s Metropolitan Police. Brand has denied all claims, including separate civil sexual assault allegations in the US, and recently shut down his UK charity focused on addiction and mental health support.
