Vought, committed to implementing President Trump’s policies, issued directives to stop enforcement actions, investigations, public communications, and supervision activities at the CFPB. Additionally, Vought requested no funding for the CFPB’s third quarter of fiscal year 2025, stating that the bureau’s current balance is excessive.
