More than 1,500 runners participated in the sold-out Weymouth Half Marathon, now in its 11th year, which featured a 13.1-mile race and a shorter “half-half” event of about seven miles. Participants enjoyed scenic routes along the seafront, Rodwell Trail, and marina, while some road closures were enforced on Custom House Quay. Race director Alan Rose highlighted the event’s popularity and the significant community involvement from local clubs, charities, and volunteers.
