Sudan Doctors Network says ‘deliberate suicide-drone attacks’ targeted a kindergarten and several civilian facilities.
Rapid Support Forces (RSF) attacks in Kalogi, South Kordofan, have resulted in approximately 47 deaths, predominantly children, with around 50 injured. The RSF targeted a kindergarten and civilians responding to the aftermath, prompting condemnation for violations of international humanitarian law. As the civil war intensifies, the UN warns of potential mass atrocities in Kordofan, echoing previous warnings that went unheeded. Recent RSF gains in the region highlight its strategic importance for both warring factions as global powers are urged to intervene.
