ROME – Trevi Fountain in Rome reopens after extensive maintenance ahead of the 2025 Jubilee Holy Year, with a limit of 400 visitors at a time and a potential future entrance fee. Visitors can toss coins into the fountain from a walkway installed during cleaning, continuing the tradition believed to ensure a return trip to Rome. To manage crowds, online booking and a 2 euro fee for 30 minutes inside the fountain area will be implemented.
