Rio2 Limited is on track for its first gold pour at the Fenix Gold project in Chile’s Atacama region by early 2026, with construction currently 19% complete and on budget. The project, hosting 389 million tonnes of ore with a total of 4.8 million ounces of gold, aims to produce 91,000 ounces annually at a low all-in sustaining cost of US$1250 per ounce, utilizing a heap leach operation to minimize environmental impact. With over 1240 personnel employed and a focus on local hiring, Rio2’s commitment to safe and responsible mining practices is evident as they advance towards significant milestones.
