The New England Revolution signed defender Wyatt Omsberg to a one-year contract with a club option for 2026, adding MLS experience and depth to their backline. Omsberg, 29, played 12 matches last season with the Chicago Fire, recording one goal and one assist in his career. Sporting director Curt Onalfo welcomed Omsberg’s addition as the Revolution prepare to kick off the 2025 season, starting on Feb. 22 at Nashville SC.

PGMOL: Tarkowski deserved red against Liverpool
PGMOL has acknowledged that Everton's James Tarkowski should have received a red card in the Merseyside derby after a VAR review deemed his challenge on Liverpool's Alexis Mac Allister as serious foul play. Despite initially being booked, Tarkowski's follow-through warranted a red card according to the referees' body.
