Update on Search for Missing British Teen Near Castle

Search operations for 18-year-old George Smyth, who vanished near Dracula’s Castle in Romania on November 23, have been suspended due to severe weather and a level-4 avalanche risk. Despite extensive efforts by the Salvamont Brașov County Service, including searching the Tiganesti Valley, no clues have been found. The rescue team emphasized that the search is not abandoned and will resume once conditions improve. George’s family is receiving support, and his mother has traveled to Romania to assist in the search.
