Rajwinder Singh, a nurse from Innisfail, has been charged with the murder of 24-year-old Toyah Cordingley, who was found dead at an isolated beach in 2018. The Supreme Court of Queensland is set to begin hearing the case in Cairns, where Cordingley’s body was discovered. Police allege that Cordingley was fatally stabbed by Singh during a Sunday afternoon walk with her dog at Wangetti Beach, sparking a community-wide search effort.
