Rafah crossing opens for Gaza patients, thousands still waiting

Israel reopened the Rafah crossing, allowing five injured Palestinians to leave Gaza for medical treatment, while leaving hundreds stranded. Despite plans for 50 patients daily, only 5 were allowed to cross, falling short of Gaza’s humanitarian needs.
