Urgent recall for mushrooms over fears they can cause ‘fatal infections’

A New Jersey company, LLK Trading Inc, has recalled 200-gram packages of Enoki mushrooms, also known as Needle Mushrooms, due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, which can cause severe infections. Additionally, Wiet Peeters Farm Products Limited recalled several sliced mushroom products after listeria was found during routine testing, though no illnesses have been reported.
