The Toronto Raptors signed seven-foot centre Mo Bamba, addressing their need for size as starting centre Jakob Poeltl recovers from a back injury. Bamba, a 2018 lottery pick, has struggled to make an impact in his seven NBA seasons, averaging 6.8 points and 5.4 rebounds. His recent G League performance was strong, averaging 16.5 points and 12.3 rebounds. Bamba was set to play against his former team, the Orlando Magic, on Monday night.
