When I met him, he never made me feel intimidated or uncomfortable. Looking back now, I realize that I was just 26, or possibly even 25, when I first met him. He was in the midst of one of the most important cases of his career, the Wik decision. Despite being so busy, he took the time to meet with me. He saw potential in the work I had done and I even presented him with a sketch of my ideas for a portrait of him. It was a truly wonderful experience.
