The Vande Bharat chaircar train heading to Kashmir has been equipped with advanced heating systems, including silicon heating pads, self-regulating heating cables, and heaters in toilets, to ensure smooth operations in sub-zero temperatures. The train will run between Jammu and Srinagar in three hours and ten minutes, providing all-weather connectivity to the region. The commissioning of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link marks a significant milestone in connecting Kashmir to the rest of India via the railway network.
