Rachel Chernos Lin, former school board trustee, wins Ward 15 byelection

Rachel Chernos Lin, former Toronto District School Board trustee, won the Ward 15 byelection with 54.76% of the votes, filling the seat left vacant by the passing of Jaye Robinson. Robinson’s son, Sam Robinson, finished third in the race. Affordable housing was the top issue in the ward, with 16 candidates competing for the seat.
