Blake Schimanski’s Fundraising Journey

Blake Schimanski, a 24-year-old electrician from Howick, completed an arduous run of over 2000km in four weeks, raising $44,000 for I Am Hope. Throughout this challenging journey, he faced significant fatigue, sleep deprivation, and injuries, culminating in swollen feet. Schimanski emphasized the importance of mental health and reaching out to friends, expressing relief and satisfaction upon finishing his run at Cape Rēinga.
