The Centre de services scolaire Marguerite-Bourgeoys (CSSMB) has stopped accepting new students for its francization courses, leading to concerns among teachers about the potential disappearance of the program. Twelve teachers have already lost their positions at the CSSMB’s adult-education centers, prompting fears that the francization classes may end altogether. Victorine Michalon, who lost her teaching job in the recent cuts, expressed skepticism about the future of the program despite the uncertainty surrounding its continuation.
