'A force of good': Singapore’s leaders pay respects at funeral of late Puan Noor Aishah

SINGAPORE: Several past and present Cabinet ministers, including Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, attended the funeral of Puan Noor Aishah, wife of Singapore’s first President Yusof Ishak, who passed away at 91. Mr. Wong praised her contributions to Singapore during its early years and her social advocacy. Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong and former President Halimah Yacob also shared memories, highlighting her impact in transforming the Istana and her lasting legacy in Singaporean society.
