Protesters hold pro-Palestinian march in Rio ahead of G20

In Rio, hundreds of protesters marched in support of Palestinians ahead of the G20 summit, demanding an end to Brazil-Israel relations and financing of Israel’s military offensives. The march, organized by leftist groups, also addressed climate change, poverty, and taxing the super-rich. South Africa’s foreign minister called for accountability for Israel and de-escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, as several nations support South Africa’s case of “genocide” in Gaza at the International Court of Justice.
