Proposals sought for phase one of Windsor’s new acute care hospital

Windsor Regional Hospital is ahead of schedule in inviting proposals for Phase 1 of the Windsor-Essex acute care hospital, with construction expected to begin by 2026. The tender for the initial stage, including a parking garage and other infrastructure, opened on Dec. 19 and will close at the end of January. Premier Doug Ford hinted at an earlier timeline for construction during a recent event celebrating a historic donation towards paediatric care at the new hospital.
