A dozen pro-Palestinian demonstrators, including current and former Stanford students, face felony charges for vandalism and conspiracy to trespass after causing extensive damage to a campus building during an occupation at Stanford University in June 2024. The protesters, aged 19 to 32, are accused of spray-painting, breaking windows, disabling security cameras, and splattering fake blood throughout the building, resulting in hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages. Cellphone communications revealed planning details, including a “do-it-yourself occupation guide,” leading to the arrests and charges.
