Priest appeals for return of ‘God’s Influencer’ relic lost at Ploughing Championships – The Irish Times

A relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis, a teenager to be canonised as the first saint of the 21st century, went missing after being displayed at the Ploughing Championships in Co Laois. The relic, a lock of Acutis’s hair in a small black box, was brought to the event by Fr Bryan Shortall to attract more people to religious life. Fr Shortall recalled the moment the relic disappeared, leaving attendees and organizers searching for its whereabouts.
