Premium Bonds saver wins £1 million in first eligible draw

National Savings & Investments (NS&I) has announced this month’s Premium Bond jackpot winners, with two holders becoming millionaires thanks to ERNIE, the prize generator. The winners, from Liverpool and Gloucestershire, hold £37,025 and £50,000 in Premium Bonds, respectively, with their winning bonds purchased in 2022 and 2024. Over 5.8 million prizes totaling £429,090,875 will be paid out in January, ranging from £25 to £1,000,000, with the prize fund rate currently at 4% and odds remaining at 22,000 to one. Winners can check online, through the app, or by contacting NS&I directly to claim their tax-free prizes.
