On Friday, nearly 500 students and staff at Poynter Primary School in Duncraig dressed as superheroes to launch the inaugural Premier’s Telethon Challenge, attended by Premier Roger Cook and Education Minister Sabine Winton. This 17-week initiative aims to teach children about philanthropy and the importance of helping others while raising funds for Telethon, which supports sick children. Students participated in fundraising activities, including a superhero-themed bake sale, emphasizing empathy and community support.
