Porsche’s sales in China dropped 28 percent in 2024, leading to a global decline, as European automakers struggle to keep up with Chinese innovation in electric vehicles and software-defined cars. Porsche’s performance issues have led to job cuts in Germany, while Chinese consumers increasingly view domestic brands as premium options, reflecting a broader shift in the global automotive industry.
