Pope Leo XIV’s Inauguration
Pope Leo XIV, the first American pontiff, arrived for his inauguration at St. Peter’s Square, where approximately 250,000 people gathered to witness the event. Riding in a specially designed popemobile, he greeted well-wishers and was accompanied by notable guests including US Vice President JD Vance and Ukraine’s leader Volodymyr Zelensky.
