Majorities Blame Political Rhetoric for Charlie Kirk’s Death
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

More than 60% of registered voters believe that “extreme political rhetoric” contributed to the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, according to a recent NBC News poll, marking a significant cross-partisan consensus on the issue. While 73% of Republicans attributed blame to rhetoric, majorities of independents (53%) and Democrats (54%) did as well. This incident reflects a broader trend of political violence and rising concerns over the impact of divisive rhetoric in the U.S.
