Police dismantle global phone smuggling gang in London

The Met Police has dismantled a major international smuggling gang responsible for shipping up to 40,000 stolen phones from London to China, accounting for 40% of all phone thefts in the city. Following a year-long investigation, 46 arrests were made, including the seizure of 1,000 devices at Heathrow, as the Met intensifies efforts to combat mobile theft and organized crime.
