No charges filed in fatal crash involving Walkerton students and teacher

Seven months after a tragic crash in May that killed four students—Olivia Rourke, Rowan McLeod, Kaydance Ford, and Danica Baker—and their teacher, Matt Eckert, the Ontario Provincial Police announced no charges will be laid. The vehicle collided with a transport truck and an SUV at a two-way stop near London. The community of Walkerton mourned their loss, holding a large memorial in their honor. The transport truck driver and SUV occupants sustained minor injuries.
