Cars totaling nearly $200k stolen from dealership

Thomaston police are investigating the theft of two Ford Mustang cars valued at nearly $200,000 from Southern Ford of Thomaston dealership. The stolen cars, a Ford Mustang GT500 Heritage and a blue Ford Mustang GT500, were taken overnight, with the thieves also stealing keys to other vehicles on the lot. Authorities believe the thieves targeted the specific vehicles and disabled security cameras, offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
