Thousands of protesters marched through Istanbul in support of Gaza, following a similar demonstration organized by President Erdogan’s son last year. Demonstrators gathered at mosques and called for an end to the genocide in Gaza, displaying Turkish and Palestinian flags. Despite cold weather, attendance was high, with security measures in place. The official program started at 8:30am local time, with ministers and officials joining the march towards Galata Bridge.
