Philips Fixables will let you 3D print replacement parts for your electric razors and trimmers

Philips is launching a program called Fixables that allows customers to 3D print replacement parts for personal care products, aiming to extend the life of these items instead of discarding them when a single component fails. While the initiative is still in its early stages, starting in the Czech Republic with only a comb attachment plan for the OneBlade trimmer currently available, Philips is collaborating with Prusa Research and LePub, with plans hosted on Printables. Although the concept faces challenges, such as varying print quality and limited access to 3D printers, it represents a significant step towards sustainability in personal care products.
