Min Woo Lee shot a seven-under-par 63 to take the lead in the third round of the Texas Children’s Houston Open, with Rory McIlroy making a strong comeback to tie for 14th place after a 65. World No 1 Scottie Scheffler, tied in third place, had a tougher round with two bogeys after setting a course record, while Davis Thompson moved up with a 64 to reach 10-under. As the tournament progresses, Lee holds a four-stroke lead over Alejandro Tosti, with players like Ryan Gerard and Ryan Fox also in contention.
