Peter Matera and Ray Sorrell have been inducted as Legends in the West Australian Football Hall of Fame. Matera, a key player for the West Coast Eagles, was instrumental in their 1992 premiership and boasts a career total of 318 games. Sorrell, a notable centreman from the 1950s and 60s, played 196 games and was celebrated for his exceptional ball-handling skills. Additionally, several other players and the late journalist Alan East were also recognized at the event.
